There was someone down here?!
This scene was sligthly inspired by some of HP Lovecraft’s classic horror stories. There are several where the protagonist descends through winding passages to see signs of non-human residents. His stories do a great job of giving you that feeling of dread… like there is something non-human down there waiting to horrify you.
